Shohei Ohtani Slugs Nl-Lead 30th Hr As Dodgers Top White Sox

Shohei Ohtani struck his 30th circuit at the head of the National League and Yoshinobu Yamamoto launched seven solid rounds while the Los Angeles Dodgers opened a six-game homestand with a 6-1 victory on the White Sox visiting Chicago on Tuesday.

Andy Pages and Michael Comforto each driven in two points while the Dodgers have improved at 13-3 since June 14. Will Smith reached the base three times on two goals on balls and a blow scored two points.

Yamamoto (8-6) granted a point on three strokes with eight stick withdrawals and withdrew the last 10 strikers he faced.
