Samson, which was signed for 26.8 Lakh, should bring the power and experience of the stars to the Kochi franchise.
Sanju Samson should appear in his first major tournament under the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) since his controversial omission of the Vijay Hazare (VHT) trophy Team in December 2024. Kochi obtained Samson’s services for a record of 26.8 Lakh, making him the most expensive player in the history of the League.
The Kochi franchise has now used more than half of its total handbag of 50 Lakh on a player. With only 23.2 Lakh remaining, the team is faced with a difficult task to assemble the rest of their team while maintaining the balance and overall depth.

Sanju Samson broke three centuries T20i against Bangladesh and South Africa. The cricket player born in Kerala became the first striker to reach three hundred T20i in a single calendar year. Samson appeared in the IPL 2025 The Royals season of Rajasthan (RR), where he scored 285 points on nine rounds.
The striker had a hard time hurting, which forced him to miss a few games. He started the tournament as an impact player in the first three games, but then suffered an abdominal injury in a match against Delhi (DC), who said it on five games.

Ms. Akhil, who recovered the highest offer last season at 7.4 Lakh from Trivandrum Royals, was chosen this year by the sailors of Aries Kollam for an improvement of 8.4 Lakh.
Launcher Thampi basil was the first player to go under the hammer and was chosen by the Royals for 8.4 Lakh. Meanwhile, Vishnu Vinod emerged as the second highest employee of the day, acquired by Aries Kollam for 13.8 Lakh. The versatile Jalaj Saxena went to Alleppey’s undulations for 12.4 Lakh.
