In a corresponding movement, the Royals remembered the right-hander Jonathan Bowlan of Triple-A Omaha.
Lynch, 28, launched an unequivocal round of relief on Saturday and granted two steps with a stick withdrawn in a 7-1 defeat on the diamonds of Arizona.
It has a 3-2 sheet with a stop, an MPM of 2.59, 22 balls on bullets and 29 stick withdrawals in 41 2/3 rounds in 39 games (two departures).
The Royals selected Lynch in the first round (34th in total) of the 2018 MLB project of the University of Virginia. He is 16-25 years old with two stops, an MPM of 4.62, 135 walks and 279 stick withdrawals in 337 rounds in 106 games (56 departures) partly five seasons.
Bowlan, 28, is 1-1 with a 3.00 MPM, seven walks and 12 stick withdrawals in 15 rounds on 12 relief appearances for Kansas City this season. There is a 1-3 career with an MPM of 4.35, 10 balls on bullets and 18 stick withdrawals in 20 2/3 heats in 15 games (two departures) partly three seasons.
It is 2-0 with three stops, an MPM of 1.90, six goals on bullets and 30 sticks in the stick in 23 2/3 rounds on 17 appearances in Omaha. Kansas City selected Bowlan in the second round of the 2018 recovery of Memphis.
