  1. This is complete nonsense. He retired, he should stay retired. Whats the point of retirment if you can just come back whenever you feel like it? Total disrespect to the cricketers who working hard to get in team.

  2. Retirement lasted longer than his recent batting form lmao. But seriously, if he performs well then no complaints, otherwise this decision will backfire badly for team management.

  3. I disagree with people saying this is good for indian cricket. We have talented young batsman like Gill, Jaiswal who need more exposure. Bringing back retired players sets bad precedent. What if tomorrow every retired player wants comeback? Where do we draw line?

  4. People forget that Kohli’s experience is invaluable specially in pressure situations. Yes young players need chances but having a mix of experience and youth is what makes strong teams. His presence alone boosts team morale significantly.

  5. For those who dont know, Virat Kohli retired from T20 internationals after the 2022 T20 World Cup. His record in T20Is includes over 4000 runs with an average around 52. He was captain for many years and lead India to numerous victories in this format.

  6. Oh great, another retirement that wasnt really a retirment. Whats next, Dhoni coming back too? These players dont know the meaning of the word ‘retirement’ anymore lol. Very inspiring for the youth i must say.

  7. Honestly dont understand why hes coming back. He retired for a reason no? This just proves he couldnt stay away from attention. Let the younger players get chance instead of taking spotlight again.

  8. Sure, lets bring back everyone who retired. Why stop at Kohli? Maybe we can also bring back players from 1980s too. Im sure they also want to be ‘first indian player’ to comeback after 40 years of retirement. Makes total sense!

  9. I think their is more to this story than we know. Maybe team management requested him? Either way, its exciting to see him back in T20 format even if its surprising move.

  10. So basically retirement means ‘see you next year’ in cricket terms? Good to know! Maybe I should also retire from my job and come back next week as ‘first person in company history’ to do that haha.

  11. This is absolutly amazing news! Virat has always been a legend and his comback to T20 after retirment shows his dedication to the game. No one can match his passion for cricket, truely the king is back!
