  1. Absolutley dominating performence by the Aussies!! This is what happens when you got a team that plays together and knows how win. West Indies never stood a chance tbh, they looked completly outclassed in every department.

  2. But who were they even playing against?? The Windies are barely a competitive side anymore. Call me when Australia does this against England or New Zealand, then we can talk about historic achievements lol.

  3. Does anyone else remember when West Indies was actually intimidating?? My dad tells stories about the 80s teams and its hard to beleive its the same country now. This result was predictible from match 1.

  4. Congrats to Australia! This shows the depth and consistancy of their squad. Even without some key players they managed to dominate every single match.

  5. Quick reminder that clean sweeps are rare regardless of opponent. Australia’s middle order showed grate form throughout and their bowling attack was relentless. People diminishing this achievement clearly didnt watch the matches.

  6. Wow such brave, much courage. Beating the mighty powerhouse that is modern West Indies cricket. I’m sure the trophy cabinet is shaking with excitement.

  7. Next headline: Australia becomes first team to score runs while opponents also score runs. Truly groundbreaking stuff we’re witnessing here folks.

  8. Impressive but lets keep perspective here. Thequalitty of opposition matters. Still, 5-0 is 5-0 and you can only beat whose in front of you. Well played Australia.

  9. So they’re the second nation to do something that only one other nation has done? That’s… still just second place. Should we throw a parade?

  10. Really happy for the boys! They worked hard and it payed off. Every player contributed at some point in the series which is exactly what you want to see from a strong team culture.

  11. For those wondering, India achieved their 5-0 whitewash back in 2013 against Pakistan in the bilateral series. Australia now joins this exclusive club. Worth noting that both sweeps came in ODI formats not Tests.

  12. Historic achievement??? Give me a break. The West Indies cricket team has been in decline for decades. This is like beating a high school team and claiming your the champions of the world. Put them agaisnt India or South Africa and see what happens.
