The crowd of Wankhede was treated to a full show Sunday evening of IPL 2025as Mumbai Indians (Mi) not only crushed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) By 9 counters but also delivered entertainment after the match with the kind authorization of skipper Hardy Pandya and owner of Mi Akash Ambani.

In a clip, Pandya can be seen controlling the robot dog using a portable remote control. What started as a playful interaction quickly turned into hilarity when Hhelik ordered Champak to jump to Akash.
The owner of the MI, without distrust and clearly not ready for a robotic ambush, let out a surprised glad and took a few steps back quickly, causing laughter of everyone. Hardik broke out laughing while Kash recovered, playing in a fun way in Pandya.

The first IPL robot dog named Champak
After the match, the attention went from the bat and the ball to something rather unexpected – Champak, the dog robot introduced in IPL 2025 as part of the new technological diffusion experience of the League. After making brief appearances earlier in the tournament, the mechanical canine was officially called “Champak” a few hours before the Mi vs CSK confrontation.
The robot, with its smooth conception and its interactive capacities, has already made its presence on the touch, capturing content, interacting with players and offering fans a whole new dimension of digital engagement.
