There are always prospects considered to be “tombers” in the draft – players who seemed to have impressive statistics or profiles but do not stand out from the NFL teams.

But this year could be one of the most legendary falls in recent memory.

The crown prince of the quarter-rear, Sheder Sanders, is still on the board of directors before the third day, as well as a number of other studs which could still very well have an impact for a team. What causes these falls and are the studs that still stick this year?

Sheder Sanders, Qb, Colorado

Let’s start with the elephant – or maybe the buffalo – in the room. The fall of Sanders was unprecedented. It is not only that he falls; It is that so many players thought they were less prospects that become of the advance. Dillon Gabriel, Tyler Shough and Jalen Milroe – All players with deep red flags in their game – spent the second day before Sanders.

A number of factors seem to play with the fall of SheDer. Coaches may not like the idea that Deion potentially breathes the neck for their work. The general directors can be disturbed by the flashy personality of Sanders and on the interviews that arose. Scouts may not be impressed by his arm force.

However, however, Sanders is certainly the most competent quarter available on the third day, with its punctual precision and its solid ball placement.

Bhashul Tuten, RB, Virginia Tech

Tuten’s combination numbers were unable to take it before the third day. Despite his rocket 40 times, Tuten was transmitted in favor of back like RJ Harvey and Kaleb Johnson.

The fall of Tuten is probably less because of his game – although the number of escapes certainly did not help his case for a selection of third round – and more because of the lack of disparity of talents between the runners. With so many guys who started to rise, waiting to run back this year may be a good strategy, because the players taken in the fifth round might not be too different from those who went the second and third.

Tuten should be the first in the next lot thanks to his impressive movement skills and his vision.

Marcus Mbow, Og, Purdue

I don’t know what’s going on here. Mbow at some point seemed that he could have been a first round choice after the initial media threw, but his projection to the guard may have injured his stock.

Mbow moves impressively and has a good leg game, but is always delivered with project work, including the construction of a NFL force profile. The fall should not go much further, but its change of projection of the tackle to the custody during the project process probably caused its stock.

Joshua Farmer, DT, Florida State

Finally, a guy who feels like he may have been the victim of the bad game of his own team. The farmer seemed to be a third-day choice cemented in pre-season after the Seminoles missed the playoffs the previous year, but after spending 1 to 11 years, the Farmer stock took an unfair fall.

Although it was only a theory – Az Thomas did not have this problem, going to choose from n ° 73 – it seems likely that a combination of bad team game and worse athletics that expected has led to a farmer in the fourth round or later.

His explosion out of the fray and a safe brochure should find him a place in the rotation for an NFL team, however, if they can ignore their recent past.
