Minnesota twins understand that Sunday afternoon’s match against Los Angeles Angels could be different from most games.

While the twins operate for a scan of three games in Minneapolis, the national spotlights will be concentrated in the street. This is where the Minnesota Timberwolves will organize the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA qualifiers.

The twin launcher Simeon Woods Richardson said that he hoped that success would be contagious, especially since the Timberwolves seemed to take a 3-1 advantage in their best seven series.

“With all these victories in the playoffs, we have to win them too,” said Woods Richardson. “Bring this energy back to us, let it deactivate us a little.”

For twins, that has been so good.

The Minnesota won the opening match of the 11-4 series against the Angels on Friday and followed with a 5-1 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Twins have won four of their last five games and will compete for their first scanning series of the season.

A large part of the recent success of the Twins was their improvement on the plate. The Minnesota outclassed 26-13 opponents in the last five games after fled in attack during the first weeks.

“It’s exciting to watch,” said twins director Rocco Baldelli after Saturday’s victory. “Because every guy goes up there and just winning his batts again and again. It was really great to see.”

The right-hander of the angels, Jose Soriano (2-3, 4.34 ERA) will try to stem the tide while he made his sixth start to the season. The 26-year-old has just paid a defeat against Pittsburgh Pirates in which he granted five points in eight strokes in 3 1/3 rounds while Los Angeles dropped 9-3.

Soriano launched two games (a departure) against Minnesota. It is 0-1 with an MPM of 13.50 in these matches and granted four points on three strokes in 2 2/3 rounds. He took out three and removed two.

Minnesota should counter the right-handed veteran Joe Ryan (1-2, 4.00 ERA), which should also make its sixth departure. Ryan hopes to bounce back from his most difficult release of the season in which he gave six points in eight strokes in five rounds in a 6-2 defeat against the Braves of Atlanta last Sunday.

Ryan has a 1-0 file with an MPM of 4.50 in three career starts against the Angels. He granted nine points (eight deserved) on 18 strokes in 16 rounds and traveled four and launched 24.

The angels will seek their enclosure to be effective despite the absence of Ben Joyce, who remains away due to a right shoulder injury.

“With Ben Out, this changes the dynamics,” said the director general of angels, Perry Minasian. “That said, Kenley (Jansen) was exceptional (Ryan Zeferjahn) was exceptional.

“At the rear of the games, we were very competitive when we were linked or late. But I think that the front of the lift enclosure is the place where we did not do very well and that we have spread certain scores.
