The Los Angeles Angels struggled offensively before Mike Trout arrived on the 10 -day injured list on Friday with bone bone in his left knee.

Now, while they are preparing to meet the Detroit Tigers on Saturday evening in the third match of their four -game series in Anaheim, California, the Angels must understand how to mark more.

Despite a disappointing average of .179 to start the season, Trout is still tied for the team head in the circuits (new) and the meters in Rbis with 18 years. This season, the angels have only 111 points – only three major leagues teams are less – and abandoned 166.

The Angels, who had an 8-4 heavenly start to the heavenly season, have lost seven consecutive games and nine from their last 10 to fall to the bottom of the American League West. The entrance plays seven games behind the Seattle Mariners on Saturday at the top of the division.

Trout’s injury is the same knee that required surgery last season to repair a torn meniscus. The 33 -year -old trout said he hoped he would be able to return to the programming when his 10 days on the injured list will be in place.

“I think it’s really possible,” said Trout. “The doctor told me to stay away for a few days and (then) I will come back to it.

“I feel much better. (Thursday), I was quite sister. I am not worried at all. It is much better than what happened last year. I just look at MRI, structurally, everything is fine.

Friday, with a defeat of 9-1 against the tigers, the angels scored more than four points only once in their last 19 games. And with an era of staff of 5.22, Los Angeles has trouble holding adversaries below four points, which is only five times in these 19 competitions.

Detroit, the leaders of the American Central League, does not have this problem. They pushed 164 points while abandoning 110.

The angels manager Ron Washington said that he hoped for a quick return of trout.

“We have trouble when Mike was in it, but I still like his presence,” said Washington. “I don’t care what Mike does in the sense that he has a history. All I want is his presence.”

Jorge Soler started the last two games in the right field for trout and figures to have most departures. The angels called the Gustavo campero from Triple-A Salt Lake Tuesday, and Friday, they promoted Niko Kavadas from Salt Lake.

Jo Adell could go from the central field to the right field, giving Kyren Paris an opportunity in the central field.

“I would like to see the whole team intensify,” said Washington. “This is our problem, simply trying to bring guys to intensify. For any reason, our little funk involved everyone, so I like to see everyone intervene here.”

The right-hander Kyle Hendricks (0-3, 6.65 ERA) will start for the angels on Saturday, still looking for his first victory with the club. He is 1-1 with an MPM of 2.70 in three career starts against Detroit.

The right-hander Jack Flaherty (1-3, 3.34 ERA) will make its seventh start of the season for Tigers. It is 0-2 with an MPM of 16.88 in two career starts against the Angels.

The tigers are satisfied with the defense of Javier Baez, a former stopover of the gold gloves which made the transition to the central field. And his rapid progress in the outside field was exposed Thursday when he jumped and stole Soler from a home run.

“A great athletics, a big timing, a feeling for the wall,” said Tigers manager Aj Hinch. “All the things you can play in the field for a very long time and never quite. He naturally has it, and it’s pretty great to see.”
