In his new role, Trent will work in close collaboration with the CEO of CSI Pacific, Wendy Pattenden, to advance the mission of the Institute for the Empowerment of Canadian athletes to achieve their greatest potential. Together, they will lead CSI Pacific to an era of continuous performance and growth innovation, establishing new standards of sporting and development support for athletes across Canada.
More recently, Trent has led several special critical projects for the Institute such as: its collaborative research with Harvard University on a relative energy deficiency in sport (REDS); The incredible partnership with Lululemon we project more; And the joint innovative initiative with the Israel Premier Tech technology professional cycling team, emphasizing the supervision of nutritional support and future applied sports research projects. These three collaborative projects have considerably improved the global reputation of our institute in research in applied sport science.
Trent will be the first CPO in the history of CSI Pacific. Trent’s new role will focus on pursuing his excellent work on innovative special projects that have an impact on performance, as well as to improve our global sports technical leadership within the Institute, both internally and externally. Trent will come directly from the CEO Wendy Pattenden.
