New Delhi: In a significant change in mid-season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) signed the rising star of Mumbai Ayush Mhatre inasmuch as replacement of injuries For Ruturaj Gaikwad, which has been excluded from the rest of IPL 2025 Due to an elbow injury.

Mhatre had become invented at IPL MEGA auction in Jeddah, but drew CSK’s attention during mid-season trials in Chepauk earlier this month. He was part of the zonal camp for the under 19 BCCIs at the time and was transported by Rajkot plane for trials.

CSK came when Gaikwad suffered an elbow injury during the match against the Royals of Rajasthan on March 30. Although he played two games after that, marking 5 and 1, he never completely recovered.
