Aliyah Boston scored a 31-point career summit and the Visit Indiana fever took the lead in the third quarter for a 94-86 victory against the Seattle storm on Tuesday evening.
Boston scored 30 in a regulatory match for the first time since it entered the WNBA as the first overall choice in 2023. Boston made 13 of the 18 shots on the ground and exceeded its 30 career summit in an extension victory on the dream of Atlanta last September 8.
Boston also seized eight rebounds while fever (7-7) rebounded their collapse of the fourth quarter in eight points on Sunday against the Las Vegas Aces.
Kelsey Mitchell added a 26 -point summit and reached five of the Eight Points in Indiana. Lexie Hull equaled its high season with 15 points and added a summit of 11 rebounds while the fever pulled 50.7% despite a quiet evening of Caitlin Clark.
In her fifth return match of a quad injury, Clark was held at six points, although she finished with nine assists. Clark finished 3 of the 13 shots and missed her six 3 -point tests.
Skylar Diggins scored 22 and Erica Wheeler added 14 of his 20 in the fourth, but Seattle (9-6) was denied a fourth consecutive victory and lost for the second time in eight games.
Nneka Ogwumike was maintained at 16 points on 5 on 12 shots on the field after scoring at least 25 in the previous three games. Gabby Williams collected 11 while the storm pulled 46.8%, but also committed 17 reversals.
After the Indiana took an advance of 45-39 at halftime, Hull’s 3 opened an 11-point cushion with 8:25 on the left. She struck 3 others with 4:49 to play for an advance of 63-53 after Seattle reduced the advance to five.
Mitchell converted a game of 3 points and a 3-point on consecutive possessions while Indiana scored eight in a row on the road to an advance of 75-58 in the fourth.
Hull hit a lay-up to give Indiana an advance of 19 points with 6:40 on the left, then Seattle made a small bump by obtaining 88-77 on Wheeler’s 3 with 2:40 on the left.
Boston helped Indiana finish finishing two other jumpers, including a 14 feet for a 92-79 advance with 89 seconds to play.
