Another failure! Rishabh Pant’s horror race continues in IPL 2025

Another failure! Rishabh Pant’s horror race continues in IPL 2025
Rishabh Pant again failed on Sunday against the Mumbai Indians.

The miserable form of Rishabh Pant continued as he fell for a ninety against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium on Sunday.
Pant played a reverse sweep directly to a third short man. It was a bad blow of Lucknow Super Giants captain.
It was Will Jacks’ full ball on the stumps. Pant went low, trying to pick it up for a reverse scanning, a shot that was not necessary, and ended up reaching it, scanning directly to Karn Sharma.
Pant has a difficult season so far, with only 110 points in ten games, including a blow of 63. These figures are fairly low for a player of his stature. If he does not find his pace, it will be the first time since 2016 that he has scored less than 200 points in an IPL season.
Who is this IPL player?
During his return season last year, he raised 446 points for Delhi’s capital in 13 games and also scored three half-century.
Pant was acquired by LSG for 27 crore of ₹ during the auction of last year, becoming the most expensive player in the history of the league.
Earlier, the Mumbai Indians rolled over half-centurys from Ryan Rickelton (58) and Suryakumar Yadav (54) to reach a 205/7 challenge in 20 overs against LuckNow super-managers in IPL 45 match.

Rickelton gave the sleeves an early thrust with half a century on 25 balls after MI was invited to first beat by the skipper LSG Rishabh Pant. Suryakumar Yadav then provided additional momentum with a generally innovative 54 yards, becoming the top scorer of the season with 417 points in 10 rounds.
In hot hot conditions aggravated by great humidity, Rickelton caught fire in the second, to assault his fifty in just 25 bullets and marked the fastest half-century of the season for the Mumbai Indians, who are on an undefeated race for four games in IPL 2025.
Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav became the second fastest to reach 4,000 points by bullets against IPL.
For LSG, Mayank Yadav and Avesh Khan claimed two counters each, with figures of 2-40 and 2-42 respectively, while Prince Yadav, Digvesh Rathi and Ravi Bishnoi each bag on a counter.
