The Colorado finished seventh in the NHL with 102 points during the regular season, but the avalanche opens the playoffs as a consensus favorites to win the Stanley 2025 Cup.

On the eve of playing match 1 of a first round series against the stars of Dallas – which finished with 106 points during the regular season – Colorado was offered as the Cup +750 favorite by Draftings and +700 by Betmgm.

This helps that the stars are less the top scorer Jason Robertson due to an injury to the lower body suffered in the team’s regular season final. Dallas has already played without the best defender Miro Heiskanen (knee) and box in the 0-5-2 qualifying series in his last seven games.

On the other hand, after remutning the list throughout the season, the Colorado has been gaining momentum since mid-February. This led the avalanche supported by the most total bets (10.6%) and money (11.0) to win the cup since the opening at +1000 in Betmgm.

However, Colorado is not one of the three biggest book cup liabilities.

The first honor in this regard would go to Saint-Louis, followed by Montreal and Dallas. With the Blues (+4000) and the Canadians (+8000) The two remaining longest longshots, BETMGM is more nervous about the avalanche.

These are the two Florida teams for which the book is currently shooting. The reigning champions Panthers attracted 6.3% of the money to +750, while the tampa bay lightning was only supported 2.8% of the money while going from +2,000 to +1100.

Tampa Bay finished tied with Colorado with 102 points in the regular season, while Florida was 11th with 98 points.

“Panthers and lightning are among the favorites to win the Stanley Cup, but the public ignores them,” said Betmgm’s main merchant Matthew Rasp. “Betmgm really wants the Stanley Cup to remain in Florida.”

Winnipeg, which exceeded the league with 116 points while winning 56 NHL games, opens the playoffs to +1000 both in Betmgm and Draftings – the ratings of the eighth more cup and equally for the sixth most to the latter.
