Wait so let me get this straight – Jadeja refuses handshake after draw and now everyone acts like its World War 3? Have we forgotten all the controversies Stokes himself been involved in over the years?? The hypocrisy is real. Both players are grown men, they’ll sort it out without keyboard warriors needing to pick sides.
Both sides has valid points here but refusing basic courtesy crosses the line. You can be competitive without being disrespectful, its not that hard. Jadeja is better than this and he knows it.
Great sportsmanship on display! Nothing says “gentleman’s game” quite like refusing to shake hands after a draw. I’m sure this will definitely improve relations between the teams and won’t create any drama at all. 👏
This is absolutely disgraceful behaviour from Jadeja! Cricket is suppose to be a gentlemans game and refusing handshake goes against everything the sport stand for. Stokes had every right to be furious, imagine playing your heart out for a draw and opponent cant even show basic respect. This kind of attitude is whats ruining modern cricket honestly.
Both players are legends of the game and have given us countless memorable moments. This incident shouldn’t define their careers or the respect between two great cricketing nations. Lets move forward and appreciate the quality cricket that was played in Manchester instead of focusing on one negative moment.
Oh yes because refusing a handshake is clearly the worst thing that’s ever happened in cricket history. Forget match fixing, ball tampering, or actual violence on field – THIS is the real tragedy. Won’t somebody please think of the handshakes! 🙄
I was actually at the match and the atmosphere was intense from start to finish! The crowd didnt know how to react when this happened, there was just awkward silence. You could feel the tension even from the stands, it wasn’t just about the handshake but everything that lead up to it during the match.
People need to understand the context here before jumping to conclusions. There was clear tension building throughout the match and both teams were under immense pressure. Sometimes emotions run high in competitive sports and we shouldn’t be too quick to judge. That being said, sportsmanship should always come first regardless of the situation on field.
This whole situation could of been avoided if match referee had stepped in earlier when tensions were rising. ICC needs to take stronger stance on player conduct during matches, not just after incidents happen. We’ve seen similar situations in past where small disagreements escalate because theres no proper intervention. The rules exists for a reason but enforcement is inconsistent at best.

Imagine being so entitled that you throw a tantrum because someone wont shake your hand 😭 Stokes should try yoga or something, man needs to chill
