  1. My man Stokes woke up and chose violence today! Indian bowlers looking like they were bowling to him in nets. Someone check if they’re getting paid by England too because that was charity bowling 😂

  2. This is what happens when you give a quality player enough time and support. Stokes prove all the doubters wrong today. England must be relief to have him firing again especially with Ashes coming up soon.

  3. Everyone praising Stokes but honestly the pitch was flat and bowling was mediocre at best. Any decent batsman would have scored runs on that surface, nothing special about this innings really.

  4. Great to see him back in form but lets not forget he’s been struggling for while now. One good innings doesn’t erase all the failures. Need consistency from here.

  5. Absolutely brilliant innings! Stokes showing why he’s one of the best all-rounders in world cricket. That century was pure class and timing, India had no answers for him today.

  6. Stokes scoring a century after 2 years is like my dad finally fixing that leaky tap he’s been promising to fix since 2021. Better late than never I guess! At least Stokes actually delivered unlike my dad 😅

  7. For those intrested, this is Stokes’ 13th Test century and his first since July 2021. He scored 119 off 128 balls with 14 fours and 2 sixes. Strike rate of 92.96 which is exceptional for Test cricket standards.

  8. Everyone going crazy over this century but conveniently forgeting that India are missing their best bowler due to injury and the pitch had nothing for seamers. Context matters people.

  9. Stokes came into this match averaging only 23.5 over his last 15 innings. His technique looked much more solid today compared to recent performances, he was leaving well outside off stump and punishing anything on his pads. The key difference was his footwork.

  10. Indian bowling attack suppose to be world class? Where was the aggression? Where was the creativity? Stokes just walked all over them like practice session. Absolutly embarassing display.

  11. Stokes really missed playing cricket all these years huh? Good thing India’s bowlers decided to give him some catching practice with all those loose deliveries. Very generous of them!

  12. Oh wow, a century after 2 years! What an achievement! Maybe next time he’ll manage one before another 2 years pass. India’s bowling made him look like prime Bradman out there.

  13. Our bowling was absolutely pathetic. How can you let someone who hasn’t scored century in 2 years just dominate like that? Shameful performance from the bowlers, they need to be dropped immediately.
