The former counterpart of India, Harbhajan Singh Suryakumar YadavWho played a brilliant shot against the capital of Delhi (DC) on Wednesday May 21, at the Wankhede stadium to take the Indians of Mumbai (Mi) to the playoffs of the In progress Indian League (IPL) 2025.
Mi lost three counters inside the first seven Overs after being invited to make a bowl first. The surface seemed to be slow and the DC spitters turned the bullets. Suryakumar had to wait for his time at the fold, and he did it, even if Tilak Varma and Hhelik Pandya threw their counters in search of fast races.
During the last two Overs, Suryakumar and Naman Dhir broke Mukesh Kumar and Dushmantha Chameera all around the park to raise 48 points. The Indian captain T20 finished undefeated out of 73 out of 43, belt of seven four and four. MI reached 180/5 in 20 Overs and finally won the match with 59 points to sail in the playoffs.
While analyzing the match, Harbhajan praised Suryakumar for jumping his team as he did several times in the past. The cricket player who has become commentary, highlighted Suryakumar’s ability to take the game deeply, especially in conditions that are not conducive to the manufacture of stroke.
“A good sign of a player is that he takes the game in depth, then he believes so much in himself that if he stays until the end, which he was going to change the complexion of the game, and we saw Suryakumar Yadav do this not once, but thousands of times,” said Harbhajan on Star Sports.
“He understood the requirements of the conditions and took the game in depth, and when he had a chance, he opened his arms in such a way that he moved the game from the opposition. I think it was the best stroke of the whole season. The other sleeves could have been much faster, but the quisors were in the game in the conditions of today,” he added.
