Oh great, another extension. Because what this team really needs is continuity with mediocrity. I’m sure this will definitely solve all our problems and we’ll be Super Bowl bound now 🙄
For those wondering, Sutton had 772 yards and 10 TDs last season on 59 receptions. His catch rate was around 57% which isnt great but the QB situation was rough. Contract is reportedly worth $60M with $35M guaranteed. Market value seems fair considering recent WR deals.
FINALLY! This is what we needed to hear! Sutton deserves every penny after carrying our recieving corps last season. Best move Payton has made so far imo.
Everyone saying this is a good deal clearly didnt watch the games. How many times did he drop crucial passes in the red zone?? We couldve got someone better in free agency for less money but whatever keep living in the past
So we’re just gonna ignore that he’ll be 32 when this contract ends? And the cap hit in years 3-4 is gonna cripple us when we need to resign other guys. Terrible cap management as usual.

I dont get why everyones mad about this?? Sutton is literally our best offensive weapon besides maybe Javonte. You gotta pay to keep talent especially when WR market is crazy right now. Rather overpay him than lose him for nothing
