Compulsory credit: Kelley L Cox-Imagn images Cloud9 used a head-to-head victory to get into an equality with Flyquest at the top of the positioning phase of the LTA North 2025 Split 2 of the League of Legends tournament in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Cloud9 (5-1) played on blue and won the match against Flyquest in 28 minutes. Lee “Loki” blood-from South Korea was named MVP.
Team Liquid and 100 thieves also posted victories to move in a 4-2 co-leaders match. Playing on Red, the thieves returned Lyon in 35 minutes, led by MVP Rayan “Sniper” Shoura from Canada. Liquid eliminated the rebellion of Shopify, with Eom “Umti” Seong-Hyeon from South Korea winning the MVP honors.
In a team of teams previously without victory, Dignitas (1-5) played on the blue while they turned disguised (0-6) in 30 minutes. Jade “Sheiden” Libut, a Canadian / Philippin player, collected the MVP match honors.
Eight teams participate in the positioning game on Monday – a round format in which each team plays the other seven once. Each match is a card and the results will determine groups A and B for the group phase, which begins on Saturday and takes place until May 18.
After the group phase and a week of battles between the groups, the best six teams will increase to more than five two -eliminated eliminations series on June 24 to June 15. The total price is $ 160,000, with $ 80,000 for the winner and $ 40,000 in the finalist.
