Brian White de Vancouver scored in the first half and Sebastian Berhalter added a late count when the Whitecaps beat the visit of Inter Miami 2-0 Thursday during the first leg of a series of semi-final of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

The two -game game series will end Wednesday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In the 24th minute, Pedro quickly collected a cross in Miami’s penalty surface, and White directed it 6 meters to display the Whitecaps in front.

Vancouver doubled his head in the 85th minute in an impressive team attack. Jayden Nelson ran on a top of the 18 yards but went widely while he was approaching the end line. His reduction in the middle escaped the players of the two teams before a berhalter at the end of the finish won the ball and returned to his house a stroke of 8 yards with his right foot.

Inter Miami star Lionel Messi played the 90 full minutes and ended up with three shots, two on the target.
