Canada has allowed a golden opportunity to slide to take a workforce in its group on Saturday at the Concacaf Gold Cup in Houston, leaving an extension advance and 1-1 equality against Curacao.

Canada still leads group B with four points after two games, but now Curacao has ahead of El Salvador before two points. Canada will face Salvador on Tuesday, while Curacao will face unnecessary Honduras.

Almost four minutes after the time of 1-0, the Canadians lost possession near the midfield in the middle of the sloppy game, and Joshua Zimmerman from Curaao recovered the ball, finding his teammate Jeremy Antonisse freeing himself to his left.

Antonisse made a long race to get a head-to-head opportunity against goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair, Juked twice, then scored by the goalkeeper for the equalizer.

Nathan Saliba scored Canada’s goal in the ninth minute, collecting a deviation of a free kick and buried a shot down to the left of the net.
