I saw the play and it looked really bad honestly. The pitch hit him right on the knuckles and he dropped the bat immediately. Trainer came out and everything. Really hoping its not a fracture because that could be 6-8 weeks easy. Both teams gotta be sweating this one out.
Suarez had x-rays yesterday after getting hit by a pitch in the 6th inning. The team hasnt released oficial results yet but sources say its likely just a contusion. He was able to grip a bat after the game which is a good sign. Expected to know more in 24-48 hours.

Suarez has been pretty durable over his career so I’m optimistic this wont be serious. His OPS is over .800 this season and his defense at third has been solid. If its just a bruise he could be back in a few days. Smart move by both organizations to wait for the medical reports before proceeding with any talks tho
