The Englishman, 28, made his major league debut on July 8 and played a match, going without blow in four at-bats. He has six experiences in the minor league and Bat .341 with 11 circuits and 65 points produced in 63 games in Reno this season.
Garcia, 25, made his major league debut on Monday and granted two points (a deserved) in two rescue matches.

Yeah because optioning Garcia is really gonna solve our pitching problems lol. Maybe focus on getting some actual talent instead of shuffling minor leaguers around like were playing fantasy baseball

English is solid but hes not gonna be no all-star or anything. Good depth piece I guess but lets not act like this changes our playoff chances at all
Solid move by Hazen. English brings some pop from the right side and can spell Walker at first. Garcia will benefit from more consistent innings in AAA to work on his mechanics. Good roster management all around
Finally some roster moves that actualy make sense! English has been crushing it in AAA and deserves his shot. Garcia needs more work but hes got potential if he can fix that control issue
OH WOW what a brilliant move by management!! English is gonna save the season right?? Just like all the other call-ups that were suppose to be game-changers. Wake me up when we actually make moves that matter.
For those wondering, English is hitting .287 with 18 HRs in Reno this season. Garcia has a 4.85 ERA with good strikeout numbers but walks way too many batters. The options make sense given our current roster crunch and injury situation at first base.
English has a good bat but his defense at first is questionable at best have you seen his errors??
Garcia showed flashes but needs to develop better command. Can’t have a lefty walking 5+ batters per nine innings thats just asking for trouble. Smart move sending him down even tho I know some fans wont like it
So we’re calling up a guy named English and sending down Garcia… is this a language arts class or a baseball team? 😂 Maybe next we can trade for a pitcher named Math and really confuse everyone
