Delhi capital (DC) and the Gujarat titans (GT) will be faced with the other in Match 60 of Premier Indian League (IPL). In particular, GT is about to qualify for the IPL 2025 The playoffs, while the capital still has work to do in this regard.
Table-Toppers GT emerged on the right side of a thriller which was the subject of rain against Mi in Mumbai. GT made early breakthroughs, but the fifty of Suryakumar Yadav and its crucial partnership with Will Jacks brought back in the game. GT again fell to death to maintain the restricted IM to a total total.
Shubman Gill’s outfit traveled difficult conditions in the middle of the threat of rain. GT continued to run to the DLS target rather than that real and managed to maintain the target at hand. Sherfane Rutherford played a striking cameo that placed GT on DLS when the rain finally intervened. Finally, there was a recovery, but Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and Ashwani Kumar retaliated with a burst of counters before the second interruption of the match.
When the match resumed, GT needed 15 points from the last, to be upset by Deepak Chahar. The tension was palpable in an overtaking which went 4, 1, 6, 2NB, 1, W, 1 while GT returned home by three counters.
The last DC match was hectic against the kings of Punjab in Dharamsala. Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya in the 1950s led to a position of 122 points in just ten letters. T Natarajan withdrew the latter, but at that very moment, the spotlights were extinguished. Finally, the game was canceled and the IPL was suspended the next day.
It was then decided that the Dharamsala meeting would be declared empty, the recordings of the players not being counted and that the game was restarted on a later date. The last DC match before it was not a non-compliance against SRH in Hyderabad. DC had entered the match against SRH with two consecutive defeats, and it’s been 25 days since Delhi won a match for the last time IPL 2025.
The two teams met once before this season. In Ahmedabad, all DC strikers started, while Tristan Stubbs’ finish brought them to a strong total. GT followed their proven model to let the first three take care of the procedures. Jos Buttler made an undefeated 97 and built solid partnerships with Sai Sudharsan and Sherfane Rutherford to bring GT back to the house.
