  1. Oh yes, because replacing a generational talent like Pant is soooo easy. Just pick anyone from domestic cricket and boom, problem solved! 🙄

  2. Great analysis! I think Dhruv Jurel is the best option for sure. He shown great temperment in last series and his keeping skills are also top notch. Hope selectors make right choice this time.

  3. Good article with detailed comparison! However I feel you should have included Sanju Samson in this list too. He has been performing consistently in all formats lately and deserve a chance in test team as well. Just my opinion tho.

  4. According to stats, Ishan Kishan has better average in county cricket compare to other two. Also his strike rate in overseas condition is around 65 which is decent for test cricket. But question is about his mental strength after being dropped.

  5. How can you even consider KS Bharat when he already failed multiple times?? His batting average is pathetic and keeping is just average. Jurel deserve the spot more than anyone. This selection logic make no sense at all!

  6. This whole discussion is pointless because Pant will be fit for england series anyway. But nice timepass article for cricket fans i guess.

  7. Jurel looks promising but needs more exposure to international cricket. His technique against pace is still questionable.

  8. The real question is can any of these player handle pressure of playing in England against Anderson and Broad (if he comeback)?? England pitches are different beast and without experience players like Pant we gonna struggle big time. Mark my words this series will be disaster.

  9. Sure, lets just replace one of the best wicketkeeper batsman in world with someone who cant even score 20 runs consistently. What could possibly go wrong in England swing conditions? Genius plan! 👏

  10. Why everyone forgetting Srikar Bharat?? He did well in australia recently and his keeping to spinners is excelent. Atleast better than giving chance to Kishan who dont even play red ball cricket anymore. Selectors are blind or what?

  11. This is ridiculous article. None of these players can even match 10% of Pant’s abilities. We are doomed without him in England tour. Why even bother making such useless list??

  12. Actually Dhruv Jurel average in first class cricket is 42.5 with 5 hundreds which is quite impressive. Plus he is young and can be long term solution for team india. Give him consistent chances and he will deliver for sure! 🇮🇳

  13. Plot twist: None of them can play, so they call me from my society cricket team. At least I wont disappoint because expectations already zero 😂😂
