The New York Mets took an adventurous route last season at the series of national league championships, where they fell to the World Series Los Angeles Dodgers champion in six games.
The first six games of this season against the Dodgers prove that the dishes could be online for a more straight path to the playoffs this time.
The dishes will seek to fill a serial victory on the Dodgers Thursday afternoon when they visit Los Angeles at the last meeting of the regular club season of the year.

This is only the third time in this period, they lost the series of the season against the dishes, which went 7-5 against Los Angeles in 2015 and 4-3 against the Dodgers in 2022.
The Dodgers lead the majors with 353 points this season (5.7 per game) but are only on average 3.3 points per game against the food. Los Angeles won the two additional sleeve wins and scored a total of 10 points in the four defeats.
The dishes limited the dodgers to five strokes on Wednesday, when the solo circuit of Andy Pages in the ninth prevented Los Angeles from being excluded for the fourth time this season and the first time since May 10.

The SouthPaw was also 0-0 with an MPM of 6.00 in two games (a departure) in the NLC last year.
Knack recorded a victory on Saturday after abandoning a point in six rounds while the Dodgers rout the New York 18-2 Yankees.
He made his only career appearance against the dishes on May 25, when he won the defeat after abandoning a point in six rounds during the 3-1 defeat of the Dodgers.
