Esports Gains of national spotlights in Bihar

The KHELO India Youth Games (KIYG) 2025, organized at the Bihar, makes a significant stride by including Esports as a demonstration sport on May 6 and 7. This marks a pivotal moment for competitive games in India, the elevant on a leading national platform. The inclusion of eSports to Kiyg underlines the government’s commitment to recognize and promote various sports talents across the country.

Kiyg 2025: Overview of Esports events

These beginnings take place in the Patliputra sports complex in Patna, with competitions from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on two days. Fans and budding players can attend the event without tickets, anticipating a dynamic atmosphere with an expected crowd of more than 3000 participants.

Several popular ESports titles will be presented, including BGMI, Street Fighter 6, Chess, Efootball Mobile and Console efootball. These games are already part of the Olympic Esports series, signaling India’s accent on the formation of its best Esports athletes for a potential inclusion at the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028.
