Gujarat Titans (GT) successfully defended a formidable total of 224/6 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Narendra Modi stadium on Friday, winning a crucial victory in Match 51 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The display of the commander of the local team, led by sparkling shots of Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler, implemented the victory, although the match is not without its discussion points, in particular the controversial dismissal of the Skipper GT.

Captain Pat Cummins achieved a counter for 40 points, while Zeeshan Ansari Also stiff with a counter, conceding 42 points. Mohammad Shami And Harshal Patel had expensive outings without collecting a counter.
Chasing a massive target of 225, SRH needed a start of blisters, but they lost Storage head early for 20. Abhishek SharmaHowever, kept their hopes alive with a round of 74 out of 41 balls, including four four and six maximums. Despite his efforts, the counters fell at regular intervals around him. Despite Rashid Khan Having a day of leave with the ball, the collective effort assured that SRH failed, ending their sleeves at 186/6.
