KKR is likely to make some modifications to their game XI for the shock against PBKS
KKR will be preparing for what should be another appetizing confrontation against PBKS at 7:30 p.m. in Kolkata on Saturday. The last time the two parties met, Shreyas Iyer and Co. created the history by recording the lowest total ever defended in IPL. Until now, the reigning champions have not had a great season.

However, he wasted the opportunity, managed to score only 1 point against GT. His bad outing could lead to KKR’s return to Kock in the match against PBKS.
It is imperative for KKR’s openers to start shooting because they remain the only team that has not had an opening partnership of 50 points so far in the season. De Kock and Narine hope to release their fury on pbks quenchs in what will be a surface favorable to a spin.
The skipper Ajinkya Rahane also fought against Spin, although he was KKR’s most constant striker. The tastes of Venkatesh Iyer and Andre Russell will have to withdraw their socks and deliver exceptional performance to imagine any chance of beat Kkr.
Will KKR use Sakariya?
Varun-Narine-Ali’s KKR spin trio will have to make the big lifting in the game against PBKS. What KKR can do is add more firepower by calling for medium Pacena Sakariya as an impact player.
Sakariya was appointed replacement for Umran Malik earlier in March. However, he has not yet obtained a match in IPL 2025. The competition against PBKS could perhaps be the perfect scene for KKR to use Sakariya.
Another option that KKR can use to improve your spin department is to use Mayank Markande as an impact player.
