Shubman Gill was involved in a stormy interaction with the referee after a controversial dismissal during the IPL 2025 meeting between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday. Gill looked in a shiny shape as he slammed half a sensational half to provide GT an almost perfect start. However, on the final ball of the 13, it was poured for 76 out of 38 deliveries. Jos Buttler played a delivery from Zeeshan Ansari to a short fine leg and opted for a simple. However, Harshal Patel quickly recovered the ball and his throw crashed into the stumps with Gill well below his fold. The reruns left the third confused referee because it was not sure that the strains were disturbed by the ball or the gloves of the window. However, the third referee was finally convinced and reigned in favor of SRH.
Shubman Gill was evacuated.
Was it the goalkeeper or the ball first at the counter? #GTVSSRH | #Shubmangill pic.twitter.com/cjqxc5eh22

Gill was obviously upset by the decision and after heading to the GT canoe, he was taken in front of the camera with an animated conversation with the manager of the dismissal match.
The Triumvirate of Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler fired in unison with their explosive striker to propel the Titans of Gujarat at 224 for six against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
What is your catch?#Shubmangill Considering having a word with the referee after being distributed by the third referee during a tight call!

Gill moved away from a 76 of 38 bullets, while Sudharsan cut with a 23 airy 48 ball while forging an opening stand of 87 points in just 6.5 overs, after which Buttler exceeded GT above 200 with his 64 out of 37 deliveries.
Jaydev Unadkat (3/35) picked up three counters in the 20th above 12 points.
Sent to Bat, the skipper Gill started the in progress for GT when he dropped a Mohammed Shami delivery on a deep square leg for a six.
Having conceded 11 points in the first, Shami had looked out of color while Sudharsan sent the sailor for five limits, including four on the trot.
The captain of the SRH, Pat Cummins, put himself in the attack, but the carnage continued while Gill launched himself in his opposite number, greeting him first with a cover reader, then playing a blow even better in the gap between the middle and the cover.
It was a forgettable start for Cummins while Gill smoked the Australian Speedster for a maximum of the deep counter to collect 17 on this subject.
The best part of their game was that Gill and Sudharsan played with SRH quisters without taking risks and rather relied on the class to obtain the races.
GT raised 82 points in the power game, after which Spin was introduced in the form of Zeeshan Ali and the Leg Spinner gave his team a well -necessary breakthrough by taking Sudharsan by the goalkeeper Heinrich Klaasen.
In the company of Buttler, Gill continued at the same rate and reached his half-century with a nice road through an additional blanket for four, taking 25 balls to go to his fifty.
Buttler also looked at a good Nick and broke Ansari directly on the ground for six, and three balls later, the English crossed 4000 points in IPL.
The worst was in store for SRH while Cummins dropped Gill after Harshal Patel cheated on the dough with a slower ball. Gill was on 66.
However, the captain of the GT did not last long after he was exhausted after a Harshal throw at Short Fine-Leg and Klaan, instead of catching the ball deviated on the stumps. The television referee took his time before governing himself in favor of SRH.
Buttler then supported GT with his power.
