Chennai Super Kings (CSK) may have endured their worst IPL season in 2025, but in Dewald Brevis, they seem to have found a long-term gem. The 22-year-old South African, who illuminated the IPL as a replacement signature, transformed his explosive form in a transparent manner in the T20 explosion of England.
Putting on yellow again, this time for Hampshire Hawks, Brevis has announced to the Domestic English public with a stocky blow that has shown why CSK fans are already dreaming of a golden decade in advance.
Dewald Brevis lights the T20 blast
Brevis introduced himself to supporters of the Hampshire in a sensational way, exploding a 32-ball 68 on his start Vitality T20 blast against Essex. His fireworks have helped the Hawks to record their highest Tum Tum Toulita Bowl – 230 – and crush Essex by 106 massive races.
