Brandon Woodruff, launching in the majors for the first time in 652 days, granted a point in six innings, leading the Brewers of Milwaukee to a 3-1 victory on the series of the Miami Marlins host on Sunday afternoon.

Jackson Chourio dominated and rolled in the three races to feed the Milwaukee offensive.

Trevor Megill launched a 1-2-3 ninth for his 20th stop for the season.

The Brewers played without the first goal player Rhys Hoskins, who injured the left thumb on a hard label on Saturday.

Miami was afraid in the eighth when the central defender Dane Myers and the right defender Jesus Sanchez collided in search of a shallow fly ball. Sanchez took the catch, but Myers was shaken due to the accident. Myers left the game for a ninth thickness striker.

Woodruff, who had a long recovery from shoulder surgery, granted two strokes and a walk, withdrawing eight during his first MLB appearance since September 23, 2023. Sunday has marked his first victory since September 11 of the same year.

Woodruff’s only error was a 0-2 sweeper in the fifth that remained around the middle of the plate for Hernandez, who struck a home run on the left.

Of the 70 locations of Woodruff, 53 were strikes.

Leaving Miami, Edward Cabrera (3-3), took the difficult defeat, granting only two points and five strokes with zero walks in seven rounds.

Cabrera launched seven solid rounds during each of its last two departures, granting a total of only two points.

The Cabrera, a great regret on Sunday, came in the third. After a single on Christian Yelich’s field – he was initially called but the room was reversed on a video review – Cabrera launched a 1-1 cursor in Chourio. The land was not in a terrible place, but Chourio pulled a lining of 107 mph on the wall on the left.

Miami reduced his deficit to 2-1 in the fifth on Hernandez to 100 mph.

Milwaukee added in his advance in the eighth while Sal Frelick and William Contreras started the rally with simple, putting runners in the corners. With a withdrawal, Chourio launched a flight of sacrifice on the left, giving the Brewers an advance of 3-1.

At the bottom of the eighth, Connor Norby of Miami supervised a 99 MPH ball on the line of the left field, but Yelich sprinted back and made a sliding stellar socket to end the sleeve.
