This is absolutely disaster decision by team management!! Bumrah is our best bowler and now we removing him?? How we suppose to win without our strike bowler? England will score 500+ runs easily now. Very bad move.
Yeah because why would we need our best bowler anyway lol. Bumrah is overrated, only takes wickets and bowls yorkers perfectly. Who needs that? Much better to have someone whose barely played recently. Makes total sense.
Oh wow, what a brilliant strategy! Let’s just rest our best fast bowler and bring spinner who hasn’t played tests in months. I’m sure England batsmen are absolutely terrified right now. This is genius level thinking from management, truly outstanding.
Great news! Kuldeep is class apart spinner and he can turn the match in our favour. His googly and variations will trouble english batsmans for sure. Bumrah will be missed but this is good opportunity for Kuldeep to proof himself again!
I completely disagree with people saying this is good move. Yes Kuldeep is talented but he not played test cricket for long time and suddenly bringing him in 5th test is risky. What about match practice? What about rythm? Bumrah injury or rest? If rest then why rest best bowler in important match?? This decision making no sense to me at all!
Interesting change but lets wait and see before juding. Maybe Bumrah have minor injury or workload managment issue. Kuldeep is quality bowler when on form.
Plot twist: Bumrah actually requested leave because he tired of carrying entire bowling attack on his shoulders 😂 Now Kuldeep will do his magic tricks and English batsman will be confuse whether ball going left or right or straight or to moon! Rohit Sharma playing 4D chess here guys 🤣
For those who dont know, Kuldeep Yadav is left arm chinaman bowler with excellent record in test cricket when given chances. He took 5 wickets against Australia in 2019 and 4 wickets against England in previous series. His economy rate is around 2.8 in tests which is decent for spinner. The pitch condition at this venue historically favours spin bowling in day 4 and 5.
