Cricket Harsha Bhogle tackled recent speculation about his absence from Match IPL between Kolkata Knight Riders And Gujarat titans has Eden’s gardens Monday, adding that this was due to a pre-plane planning and not to the complaint of the Bengal Cricket Association (TAXI).
The controversy emerged after media reports revealed the letter from CAB to BCCI, sent by secretary Naresh Ojha about 10 days ago, requesting the deletion of Bhogle and Simon Doull of the functions of comments in Kolkata. The request came after their comments on the field of Eden Gardens do not favor the team at home.
“There are inappropriate conclusions that are drawn from the reason why I was not in the match of yesterday in Kolkata. Quite simply, it was not on the list of matches I was doing!” Bhogle wrote on X.

“Asking me would have resolved the problem. The lists were made before the start of the tournament. I was notation for two games in Kolkata. I was there for the first and a family illness prevented me from being in the 2nd,” he added.
The match in question saw KKR lose against Gujarat Titans by 39 points at Eden Gardens on Monday.
The controversy stems from current discussions on Pitch conditions in Eden Gardens. KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane and head coach Chandrakant Pandit expressed their more spintes desire according to their bowling attack featuring Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine and Moeen Ali.
