Sunrisers Hyderabad finished his sequence with two defeats with a victory made up of five gates against Chennai Super Kings at the my Chidambaram stadium on Friday. This marked the third victory of the SRH of season IPL 2025 and their very first victory at the CSK fortress, Chepauk.
The two points raised SRH to six from nine games, helping them to skip the Royals from Rajasthan in eighth place in the table at ten teams. Meanwhile, CSK’s unfortunately deepened when they collapsed in their seventh defeat in nine games, remaining rooted at the bottom of the ranking.

While SRH has kept their hopes in the playoffs, the CSK path to qualification now seems increasingly improbable.

By first opting to play, the attack on SRH rhythm dominated the procedures. Harshal Patel led the charge with an impressive 4 for 28, while Pat Cummins (2/21), Jaydev Unadkat (21/21) and Mohammed Shami (1/28) supported it, combining to claim nine of the ten CSK counters.
