Indian Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has accelerated his transition from a cricket player who makes youtube videos part -time to a player who is now playing cricket part -time but who is a full -time social media personality. However, while the career on Ashwin Youtube took off, it also came with some controversies, in particular on some of the discussions made on its channel on its current Indian Premier League franchise (IPL), Chennai Super Kings. During a new video on Youtube, Ashwin had to remind a panelist not to speak of Mrs. Dhoni or his franchise because of the controversy.

Reacting to the comments of the panelist, Ashwin said: “Sshhh. Ssshhhh.”

“No, you shouldn’t be the one who speaks. I can speak. I am a member of the public,” tried to clarify the panelist.
To this, the former India Spinner, who also began his IPL career in CSK, said that even when he was in the Royals of Rajasthan, he did not speak about his franchise.
“I never talked about my team in RR too,” said Ashwin. Consequently, clarifying that it is not only a question of the current CSK controversy.
The controversy on Ashwin’s YouTube account started when the former analyst of South Africa and Royal Bengaluru (RCB), Prasanna Agoram, opposed the CSK’s decision to include the Afghan Spinner Noor Ahmad in the team, even if Ravira will Jadeja and Ashwin were in alignment. Even CSK coach Stephen Fleming was asked about his opinion on this controversy.
“I have no idea. I didn’t even know he had a chain, so I don’t know that. It is not relevant,” said Fleming at a press conference.
The controversy, however, could not be prevented from a spiral, which prompted Ashwin to announce that his channel would not cover any match or CSK content until the end of the 2025.
