New Delhi: Yuzvendra Chahal delivered a spell for the ages, taking an astonishing hat turn to derail the sleeves of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), while the skipper Shreyas Iyer guided the kings of Punjab (PBKS) to a victory of Four-Wicket and finished Chennai of this year.
Sent to Bat first, CSK looked ready for a massive total after a flamboyant 88 out of 47 balls by Sam Curran.
The left -handed broke nine four and four, stabilizing the sleeves after the first counters. Dewald Brevis participated in 32, and the brief Camée de Ms Dhoni (11 out of 4) added late fireworks. At 177/5 in the 18th, CSK looked at 200+.
But then came Chahal.
Bowling on the 19th, Chahal turned the game on his head.
First of all, he rejected Dhoni, who had just struck him for a six, taken at the end. Two balls later, Deepak Hooda bordered to the goalkeeper.
During the next delivery, Ashul Kamboj was overthrown for a golden duck. He finished the hat -trick by rejecting Noor Ahmad on the final ball. From 184/5, CSK collapsed at 190 all in 19.2 Overs.
Chahal finished with 4/32 in three Overs, recording his second Trick IPL and ninth drawing on 4 counters – the most in the history of the league.
