Zaheer Khan and Justin Langer are likely to leave

Arun’s arrival indicates the probable departure Zaheer Khanwhich was a mentor of LSG during the previous season. Zaheer’s one year contract with the franchise has not yet been renewed and the chances of an extension seem to be slim. 1. Bharat Arun worked with Zaheer Khan before in Indian team setup. Both of them understand reverse swing and seam bowling very well. His appoitment makes sense if LSG planning to focus on fast bowling attack in IPL 2026. He also good at managing bowler workloads which important in T20 format.

  2. I dont understand why they appointing him? He is already old and his methods are outdated now. IPL needs young coaches with fresh ideas not same old people rotating between teams.

  3. Another useless appointment. LSG problem is not coaching, its player selection. They keep buying wrong players in auction and then blaming coaches when team fails. Arun cannot do magic with average bowlers no matter how good he is.

  4. Finally! LSG solving their bowling problems by hiring the same coach who was with RCB when they had the worst bowling figures. Pure genius stuff right there.

  5. For those who dont know, Bharat Arun was India’s bowling coach from 2017 to 2021. Under his coaching India won Test series in Australia twice and reached WT20 semifinals. He specializes in pace bowling and swing techniques. Good addition to LSG coaching staff I think.

  6. Oh great! Another genius move by LSG. Because obviously hiring a coach who couldn’t fix RCB’s bowling will magically fix everything. What’s next? Hiring a astrologer as strategy consultant? 😂

  7. Wow! This is such a great move by LSG managment. Bharat Arun has proven track record with Indian team bowlers. He made Bumrah, Shami and all into world class bowlers. LSG bowling attack will be deadly now for sure!

  8. People saying he failed at RCB but forget that RCB had injury problems whole season. How can you judge coach when half the bowling lineup injured? Atleast give him proper chance with LSG before criticizing. But no, everyone expert on social media these days.

  9. Bharat Arun as bowling coach? Does this mean he will teach them how to bowl or how to drop catches? Because LSG fielding was comedy show last season lol. Maybe he can teach bowling AND catching together 🤣

  10. Everyone praising this move but tell me one thing – what did he achieve with RCB last year?? Nothing! RCB bowling was still worst in tournament. Why LSG repeating same mistake of hiring failed coaches?

  11. This is excellent news for LSG fans like me. Arun sir knows how to get best out of fast bowlers. Look at what he did with Ishant and Umesh careers when they were struggling. He can definately help Naveen ul Haq and Mayank Yadav improve even more.

  12. Breaking news: LSG appoints bowling coach who will coach bowling! Next they will appoint batting coach to coach batting. Revolutionary stuff happening here folks. IPL really raising the bar with these announcements 😄
