The warmth in Ahmedabad wreaked havoc on the players during the IPL 2025 match of Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capital IPL. Several players including Axar Patel, Prasidh Krishna, seemed to have trouble with cramps. However, it was the veteran GT Pacer Ishant Sharma who seemed to have the most difficulties. He was on the sidelines for the most part and a commentator mentioned “heat stroke”. However, Ishant Sharma, 36, finished three letters and took a counter.

The skipper of Gujarat Titans (GT), Shubman Gill, won the draw and chose to play the first against the Capitals of Delhi (DC) during the 35th meeting of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the iconic stadium Narendra Modi on Saturday. Gujarat -based franchise is currently in third place with four victories in six games (8 points), while the team led by Axar Patel sits at the top of the IPL points table after winning five of their six games (10 points)
