The expectations for Fields this season were moderate at best. Week 1 performance showed improvement in pocket awareness (only sacked twice) and decision-making under pressure. For those wondering about the stats: Fields completed 23 of 31 passes for 287 yards and 2 TDs with no interceptions. Also added 47 rushing yards. Pretty solid performance by any measure, especially considering the pressure he was under comming into this game.
