Delhi Capitals’ veteran player (DC), Karun Nair, produced a superb race to return the skipper of the Gujarat Titans (GT) Shubman Gill in the 35th match of the Indian Premier (IPL) 2025.
The high tension match between the Capitals of Delhi and the Titans of Gujarat (GT) took place at the emblematic stadium Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad on Saturday April 19.

Shubman Gill falls for a low score
The GT skipper seemed in good shape during the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He managed to make good starts in most matches, but failed to convert them into major scores.
Shubman Gill has hitherto slammed two half-century in the Indian League 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow super-managers.
Meanwhile, Gill was unable to play a big blow for the Gujarat titans (GT) while pursuing a huge 204 -point score against the Capitals of Delhi (DC).
He was dismissed in the second on the sleeves for a score of 7 points out of 5 bullets, including a border, while Karun Nair caught up in less of the fold.
On the fourth ball of the end, the Mukesh Kumar stimulator launched a ball in Gill, which broke it in the middle of the counter and took off for a simple.
However, there was no single available because the ball went directly into the hands of Karun Nair. Gill reached the middle of the field before being returned by Sai Sudharsan, and that gave Karun Nair a lot of time to keep his calm and pull a perfect launch to break the strains and exhaust Gill.
In particular, Shubman Gill was exhausted after a long period in the Indian Premier League, because the last moment of his broadcast in a T20 match was in the IPL 2022 qualifier against the Royals of the Rajasthan at the Gardens of Eden in Kolkata.

He supports his strength – Shubman Gill praised
Speaking on Espncricinfo before the GT VS DC match, Daren Ganga spoke of the first three of the Titans of Gujarat and said they had classic top players. He said:
“I think that if you look at this edition of the Tata IPL, you would see that many classic players at the top, and when I say classic players, players who count a lot on their technique to score races, they are the ones who mark races.
“And even more, scoring land of land which is a little slower, lower, plus black floor terrains. I feel like a young opposition bowling alley, you have to push these classic players out of their comfort zone, whether in a lot more bowling alley and points in this first phase of power playing of the sleeves, asking them to do something very different from what they are accumulated.”
Ganga has also poured rich praise on Shubman Gill, saying that he still supports his strength. He said:
“I suppose that the kind of thing that contravenes that is the fact that you are thinking of Shubman Gill and the form we have seen from him. You know, he supports his strength. He knows the game very well in Ahmedabad. He has a very good album there.
“So, it will be a difficult demand. I also think that if you look at what the quisors do now, they use questions in different roles. I just think they are a range of quality quality strikers and you have to come with a different approach.
