He now joins the elite group led by Virat Kohli, which scored 8,326 points, as a seventh drummer to reach the milestone of 5000 points in the IPL.
Before today, the ticket office had to reach the milestone with 51 points. In his sleeves, he passed Chris Gayle (4965) as the top scorer in the IPL.
