Finally some fightback from our boys! KL and Gill showing real character out there. This is what we needed after that massive England total.
Rescue mission successful! Next step: time travel back to yesterday and bowl England out for under 300 instead of letting them pile on 669. Any volunteers? 🚀😅

The partnership between KL and Gill showing mature cricket. They rotated strike well and didnt took unnecessary risks. This kind of batting was need of the hour specially after early wickets fell.
669 is just too much runs to chase down. Even if Rahul and Gill played well, we’re still way behind. The bowling was absolutly pathetic yesterday and thats the real problem here not the batting.
Oh wow, what a ‘rescue’ mission! Maybe next time they can rescue us before England scores nearly 700 runs? Just a thought.

Intresting to note that this is Gill’s 4th fifty in last 6 test innings. His average against England in tests has now improved to 47.3. KL Rahul also maintaining good form with 3 consecutive scores above 40.
Why is everyone acting like this is some great achivement?? England scored 669 runs! SIXE HUNDRED AND SIXTY NINE! We’re not even halfway there and people celebrating like we won the match already. Wake up folks!
