Attend the list of all the players kept by the Delhi Premier League franchises (DPL) before the DPL 2025 auction.

The Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 is all set to return with its mega auction on July 6 (Men’s) and July 7 (Women’s) in New Delhi. Ahead of the auction, all eight franchises have announced their one retained player, as per the new rule introduced by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA). This comes as the league enters its second season, with two new franchises—Outer Delhi Warriors and New Delhi Tigers joining the mix.

DPL retentions: Big names; delight for new teams

The biggest retention news came from Purani Dilli 6, who held onto Rishabh Pant, the face of the league and captain in the inaugural edition. Among the most fascinating picks were by the two new franchises. Outer Delhi Warriors snapped up Priyansh Arya, the breakout star from last season, who also shone in IPL 2025. The New Delhi Tigers, on the other hand, drafted in Himmat Singh, who captained East Delhi Riders to the DPL 2024 title.
