  1. Everyone complaining about rain but this is what TEST cricket is about! Conditions matter, adaptability matter. Modern fans just want perfect weather and flat pitches all the time.

  2. Does this mean the players get extra tea breaks? Asking for a friend who really into the snacks at Lords 😂

  3. Typical english weather ruining everything again. Why they even schedule matches in this season is beyond me?? Complete waste of time and money for fans who travel.

  4. Perfect! Now Sky Sports will have 6 hours of “analysis” showing the same radar loop over and over while Nasser and Athers argue about declaration tactics from 1997. Can’t wait!! 🙄

  5. Great info mate! Been checking weather all morning and this confirm what i was thinking. Really helpful for planning my day at the ground. Hopefully the storm pass quickly and we can see some good cricket.

  6. Oh brilliant, another “storm warning” that probably means light drizzle for 10 minutes. English weather forecasts are so dramatic these days lol.

  7. Storm warning? In London? During cricket season? *shocked face* Whatever will we do without this groundbreaking meteorological insight. Truly revolutionary stuff here.

  8. The storm warning doesnt necessarily mean no play at all. If the heavy band passes before 11am we could still get 60-70 overs in. Ground staff at Lords are excellent with drainage anyway.

  9. According to met office data the storm system is moving northeast at approximately 15mph. The precipitation probability peaks around 2pm with potential gusts up to 40mph. DLS method will likely come into play if play begins after 3pm based on overs reduction formula.
