
Otto Lopez made three strokes and two points produced to help the Marlins visiting a 5-1 victory against the Brewers Milwaukee at the opening of their three-game series on Friday afternoon.
Kyle Stowers succeeded and scored twice for Miami, who won five of the seven out of the stars break.

Xavier Edwards started the seventh in four points by beating an inner field single in the middle of the Brewers Aaron Ashby (1-1). Nick Mears came with a withdrawal and expressed consecutive walks to load the bases.
Lopez then bordered a double in the field space of the right center. Blake Perkins swept the ball in the center, allowing a third round to go home on the game while Lopez continued third.
Liam Hicks struck a sacrificial fly to the deep right to mark Lopez for an advance of 5-1.
An unusual sequence of events occurred during the first round.
Miami designated the striker Agustin Ramirez struck a high fly in the center with two withdrawals that Perkins seemed briefly gloves after jumping and reached the fence of the central field. The ball came out of his strap while he removed it, however, and rebounded along the fence before going on the warning track.
The game was initially judged by a home run, but after a chief review of the crew, Ramirez was placed in the second goal because the defense of Milwaukee had abandoned the game after seeing it a Home Run.
Ramirez stole third place and Stowers walked, but they were blocked in the corners.
