Nathan Eovaldi prevailed in a launcher duel with Justin Verlander, Wyatt Langford had a double RBI among three strokes, and the Texas Rangers opened a three-game road series with a 2-0 victory against the Giants of San Francisco on Friday evening.

Chris Martin, Robert Garcia and Luke Jackson combined with Eovaldi on a laundering with four strokes, helping the Rangers to go to 2-2 to 2-2 on the six-game tour of the former manager of the Giants Bruce Bochy in Northern California.

EOVALDI (2-2), the only other victory this season that came in a full bleaching, worked the first six sleeves, granting three strokes and a walk. He withdrew seven.

The giants only obtained a runner in a position to mark against the right -hander, which happened in the fifth when Lamonte Wade Jr. led with a simple and took second place on wild land at once. But Eovaldi, ahead of 1-0 at the time, made Tyler Fitzgerald ended and Mike Yastrzemski flies away, ending the threat.

Langford gave the Rangers its 1-0 advance with its double withdrawals in the third, marking Jake Burger, who had taken off the Channel with a double.

Always looking for his first victory as a giant, Verlander (0-2) maintained the scoring at 1-0 until the sixth, when Josh Smith chose, Langford advanced him in third place with his second double and the former giant Joc Pederson chose.

Verlander finished the round without allowing another race and was fired at that time, loaded with two points on five strokes in six rounds. He walked one and withdrew five.

Martin gave a simple head of Wilmer Flores in the seventh, Garcia withdrew the three strikers he faced by putting the eighth and ninth, and Jackson obtained the last two withdrawals with only 11 throws, finishing the fourth whitening of the rangers of the season.

Jackson, who started last season with the Giants, was credited with his eighth stop.

The three double combined of Langford and Burger were the only additional success in the game. The Rangers reached the Giants 7-4.

The laundering defeat was the fourth of the San Francisco season, the third at home. The giants fell to 3-2 on a house of seven games.
