The Antilles have appointed a strong team for their next T20I series of three games against England, which is expected to start on June 6. The explosive versatile Andre Russell and the seasoned stimulator Jason Holder return to the Giron, while Nicholas Poornan asked to rest after a demanding first league season (IPL) with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Poornan, who played a central role in the LSG countryside, will sit on both the legs of England and Ireland on the tour. His absence opens the door to other strikers to intensify under the direction of the new Captain T20i Shai Hope, who replaces Rovman Powell at the helm. Powell, however, retains its place in the team and will play in the two T20i assignments to come.

Sherfane Rutherford also returns to the team after missing the Bangladesh series due to the commitments of Big Bash League (BBL). Meanwhile, Keacy Carty and beginner Jyd GOOLE were included for Ireland T20is, replacing Brandon King and Roston Chase respectively. Chase, the new captain of the Antilles tests, will leave after the stage of England to reach the red ball camp before the Australian series. Australia travels the Caribbean islands for three tests and five T20is next month.
Coaching tasks will also see a reshuffle. Head coach Daren Sammy and his main assistants will come back to the house after the England series to supervise the preparations for the test series, Griffith department supporting the T20is of Ireland.
