Nitish Kumar Reddy dissatisfied with SRH?

On Sunday, July 27, India published a bomb report today, saying that the young versatile Reddy plans to leave the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

The report mentioned that Reddy is not on good terms with SRH and wants to start over in the Indian Premier (IPL) 2026. The reason for its fallout with SRH would have been its shot position in IPL 2025.

Reddy wanted to obtain a permanent place in No. 4 and accepted retention after obtaining franchise insurance. But when the season started, the franchise has trusted Heinrich Klaan to beat in the crucial place. Reddy was forced to fight between n ° 5 and n ° 7, which made the versatile unhappy.

I’m always going to stay next to this team – Nitish Kumar Reddy

After the report has become viral, the versatile quickly went to X to issue a clarification. Reddy said that his relationship with IPL champions is still very good.

He added that his “connection with SRH is based on confidence, respect and the years of shared passion”, and he will stick to the team for the next season and beyond. Nitish Kumar Reddy said:

“I tend to stay away from noise, but some things deserve clarity. My link with SRH is built on confidence, respect and the years of shared passion. I will always stay next to this team.”

In particular, Reddy was one of the five players preserved by Sunrisers Hyderabad before the mega Indian auction of the first League 2025. He was retained for 6 crore Inr with Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head.

At the time of the auction, it was reported that several franchises approached Reddy to enter the auctions, but he chose loyalty to the franchise based in Hyderabad on money.

Reddy has recently been excluded from the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar trophy due to a knee injury. He underwent a knee injury during training at mobility at the gymnasium, and later, the analyzes revealed that he had damaged his ligament.

After being excluded from the marquee series, Reddy found himself in difficulty because his former agent filed a petition against him, asking him to release his contribution from Rs 5 Crere.

The relationship between Nitish Kumar Reddy Reddy and Square Celle – the agency – “broke down” during the Border -Gavaskar 2024-25 trophy in Australia, and the versatile decided to sign a new agreement with a new manager.

Square The One asked Reddy to clean the contributions, saying that he has facilitated the mentions of several brands and commercial partnerships, but the player denied him.

  1. For those who dont know, Nitish Kumar Reddy joined SRH in 2023 and played as an all-rounder. He showed glimpses of talent in domestic cricket before getting the IPL contract. His departure could be related to team’s restructuring plans for next season or maybe salary cap issues.

  2. Not surprised at all tbh. The writing was on the wall when he stopped getting selected in playing 11. SRH has always been ruthless with there retention policy. Hope he gets picked by another franchise who will actually use him properly because he does have potential if given proper chances and support.

  3. Breaking news: Player who barely played leaves team. In other shocking news, water is wet and sun rises in the east. Im sure the entire cricket world is devastated by this earth-shattering announcement haha

  4. Nitish Kumar Reddy departing SRH is like me leaving the gym after New Years… we both knew it wasnt gonna last long anyway 😂 At least he got some orange jersey selfies out of it!

  5. Oh wow what a huge loss for SRH… I’m sure they’ll never recover from losing such an ‘irreplaceable’ player lol. The team only has like 15 other all-rounders to choose from now, how will they ever manage??

  6. This is really sad news for SRH fans. Nitish was such a promising young talent and brought so much energy to the team. I hope he finds success wherever he goes next and continues to shine in his carrer. Best of luck Nitish!

  7. Honestly this was expected after last seasons performance. He didnt contribute much anyway and team will be better without him. SRH managment knows what there doing and they made the right call here.

  8. I completely disagree with people saying he wasnt good enough!! Did you even watch the matches properly? He had limited opportunities and still performed decent when given chance. The problem is SRH’s team selection and strategy not individual players. They always do this to young talents instead of nurturing them properly!
