New Delhi: the India cricket debate vs Pakistan again reigned after the recent terrorist attack on Pahalgam. In the middle of increasing tensions, Pakistani women’s cricket team opener Gull Feroza has strengthened the position of his team concerning participation in the matches planned in India.
Feroza, who appeared in three games during the qualification of the CPI World Cup of the ICC as a worker, confirmed that Pakistan would not go to India for the main tournament. Pakistan has obtained a qualification 2025 ICC Women’s World Cupwhich should be held in India in September.
With the qualification of Pakistan, now confirmed, the same goes for the probability of a hybrid model for the tournament – similar to that used in the Asian Cup – where their matches against India will be organized in a neutral place. Development has aroused controversy, in particular with India which should host the world event.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Mohin Naqvi had already said that the team would not go to India for the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Feroza echoes this feeling in a conversation with pakpassion.
“We know a lot that we will play in Asian conditions and we do not play in India. This is clear. Nor we are not interested in playing in India,” Feroza told Pakpassion.
“So, wherever it is played-hopefully in Sri Lanka or Dubai-these conditions are similar to those you get in Asia. Qualifications were at home, and the staff have prepared tracks accordingly. Wherever the World Cup games will be played, the conditions will be similar to those we have at home. So our preparation will be, and we are ready.”
Earlier this year, the Indian male team also refused to go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. As a result, their matches – including the final – took place in Dubai.
